True Freshman Michael Hart continues to establish himself as the #1 tailback at Michigan.

Today, against Illinois, he ran the ball for 234 yards. Absolutely outstanding.

Chad Henne also continues to improve and gain experience. He was 14 of 27 for 114 yards with one spectacular touchdown pass to Braylon Edwards that was unfortunately called back for holding.

Turnovers were a problem. Two interceptions. But, hey, he is a true freshman.

The big game next week against Purdue will make or break Michigan's "Run for the Roses."

Purdue is NOT invincible. Unfortunately, the game will be played in West Lafayette so Michigan will have its second game on the road in as many weeks.

Will have to see what the line is on this game next week.

I agree, they are developing well :bang: Hopefully, State's spread offense gives um more trouble than a one dimensional purdue. With that said, I am more concerned with um's passing game and our pass defense. 04-drinky
