The BE is not at 11 until 2015. There's some time. In all likelihood, there will be a one-year deal to cover the mess of teams coming in and going out after 2013, then there would be a second deal to cover whatever happens afterwards.

Not true. That UMaryland exit fee issue is what's holding things up. If it ends up that they only have to pay a fraction of the $50 million, all hell is going to break loose. The Big's poaching will immediately continue.

Nevada beat them once in a decade with their best team ever. We beat them with a rebuilding team in our second try.

Chris Ault stepped down. He was the guy who had Boise's number during the first and last time he coached Nevada. His replacement couldn't do a damn thing.

I was astounded by how many SDSU fans thought they would remain in the nBE. Was perfectly obvious they were gone as soon as Boise left.

Likewise. Without Boise, it seemed like the sensible thing for SDSU to do was remain in the MWC vs. being a far western outpost of an Eastern league. I appreciate SDSU's honesty during the process and really do wish you guys the best.

I am really bummed out about this.

I still think the best move for the Aztecs would be in the Big East.
