That won't happen. The Pac 12 already said no to OU w/o Texas. Adn that was with no GOR. The GOR is not inpenetrable (see above), but it does create hurdles.

Agreed. It isn't perfect but it's certainly more deterrent than a lot of the detractors will admit and creates a lot of issues.

OK, so nobody goes to the Pac-12... my point was that you could probably get enough teams to leave simultaneously to have them dissolve the Big 12.
WVU & Texas to ACC
OU & TTU to SEC
Kansas & Ok St to B1G
That's 6 votes out of 10 to dissolve right there... If necessary, I'm sure the ACC could invite one of the Texas teams to get to 16 full members (hello, Baylor?)

Is 7/10ths enough? I don't really know.

That's where I stopped reading. With the following schools -- Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, and Louisville -- the ACC has no academic and/or TV need for West Virginia.

Sig bet me if need be....

West Virginia is one Texas ego-trip from becoming a psuedo-isolated athletic program.

How many people watched their basketball game with Iowa State last night...? How many people knew WVU was playing Iowa State last night...?

When the newness wears off on the B12 (probably won't take long) I predict both the Big 12 and WVU will be wondering what they got themselves into. It was a shotgun wedding and doesn't look like a long-term fix.
