Next season C-USA will look very different. Both the East and West will have new members. In your opinion, which new program in your division will your team have to beat? I know everyone wants to win every game, but is there a game against a new member that you believe is a "must win"? If so which one, and why?

LTech due to Louisiana being a recruiting hotbed for us. Granted, that would also be the least embarrassing of the newbies to lose to.

Well, we WILL play ODU next year. Would love to stomp them as we were former CAA rivals. Granted we are talking football and have'nt played that sport against each other.

IF we play La Tech that will be a good one with all the story angles on such a game.

I'd kind of like us to see how we would fare against UTSA. I can't tell you why....just intrigues me for some reason if it happens.

Would love to beat ECU cause it's likely the to be the only time we'll play them as conference-mates.

Not sure now that there are teams coming in early but I believe we WERE scheduled to play at La Tech. Now that Holtz is there would have loved for them to be coming to D-F to play but it doesn't look like that will happen.

I don't know that there is a must win game for me over the others. I would say I am most excited to see ECU play La Tech and MTSU out of the new schools.

I know we are a new member and the question isn't directed at us, but I'll answer anyway. Rumor is that we host ECU and Marshall this fall. Honestly for program "momentum" sake I think winning at least one of those is critical. Other than that, not laying an egg against what should be a bottom of the East contender FAU will be important.

Hope we play LA Tech or UTSA from the west. Would love a roadtrip to either.

The must win for Tech is whoever is the first conference team on the schedule. Gotta start off our membership right!

No offense, but that will be the one game all year that I pay zero attention to. I just can't make myself care about it.

MTSU. They won their first game against us this year. We can't let them think they can get a streak going

I imagine USM and La Tech are going to develop quite a rivalry.

Marshall and LaTech, because beating them would indicate MT is making progress as a program. Both high quality programs with great tradition, IMO.

I personally think as a USM fan/alum that every game next season is a must win.
