What are the other B1G boards that are more active? Maybe we can siphon some users?

That's a good question. And its a question I'd like the answers to.

I just think it's the nature of the beast. The fact that the SEC and Pac-12 message boards are inactive shouldn't shock anyone. The teams in those conference don't need to rally around the conference or fight about the viability of the conference like the Big East/ MWC/ CUSA do. That means that fans are going to stick to their own teams' message boards.

Actually Mike, the SEC rallies around its league like no other conference. There are a few SEC message boards out there. There's quite a few PSU, OSU, and Iowa fans on the CR Board.

Collegefootballnews.com Big Ten message board is active and my primary one outside of this site. It's a fantastic board and a lot more traditional than most the various team boards on Scout (which College Football News is affiliated with). I think there is one called Big Ten Fever or something too, but I've never been there.

It's odd, but while collegefootballnews.com has remained my primary one for Big Ten, I spend a lot more time on the boards over here. Never would have guessed that when I started posting.

Don't give up. Lots of changes are in store for the B1G in the next few years. Keep posting articles and discussions and maybe we can get a critial mass.

Most B1G schools have there own separate forums that a pretty active.
