Ask UC about playing the best. They were outscored 40-8 at Florida (ranked #1 by many polls) in 3 games this past weekend.

UC's players and coaches have been complimentary of CUSA baseball heading into this season. They know it was and is a very strong league and think it has prepared them for the Big East. UC's head coach said as much when UC was picked low in the pre-season conference poll.

Is Brian Cleary still the UC baseball coach, if so, then you will do okay in the Big East, Brian knows baseball. He simply had a cold-weather recruiting disadvantage relative to southern-based CUSA teams. He won't have that relative disadvantage in the Big East; he should do well for UC.
