Same here. Marshall and ECU have a bond though that can't be broken. But I really enjoyed us playing ECU.

For those new to CUSA and didn't know the plane that crashed on Nov 14th 1970, was coming back from Greenville NC. ECU had just beat Marshall 17-14.

For those new here and you have never watched "We Are...Marshall" or read about Southern Airways Flight 932, you can do so here:

I believe the league should have been smart enough to ensure that the ECU-Marshall game was played as close to Nov 14th as possible every year, but that would make too much sense so it didn't happen. Seems like something obvious that would have been positive pub for the league and a nice story every year.
