I must have been Maurice Kemp last year then as much as I championed the guy to play more. Coach wouldn't play me 25 minutes either while we went 2-8 in 5 point games with my all conference abilities in warmups.

Who's Akeem Richmond and Maurice Kemp? Never heard of them. Are they on ECU's baseball team or something?

Kemp is arguably the best player in CUSA this year. I've seen him ranked top 50 nationally on several ranking list.

Paul has been All CUSA and deserved 1st team last year.

Memphis will have at least 2 guys on the first team and the POY will probably go to Jackson, IMO the best player in CUSA this year.

I was actually referring to Kemp in the earlier thread about being all conf caliber last year, but Richmond has played at an all conference "caliber" level too, Lebo just hasn't played him enough to show it. He's got the 10th highest Player Efficiency Rating in CUSA right now and when he's got 25 minutes a game the last 4 games he's averaged 22ppg. If anyone in CUSA is playing at an all conference level right now he is. He just got POW last week.

DJ Stephens has the highest efficiency rating in CUSA. As much value as he has to the Tigers, I'm not pimping him for 1st team all conference based on some damned efficiency rating since ratings like that don't take some things into consideration.

Player Efficiency Rating takes every stat there is into consideration down to turnovers and fouls. Stephen's has the 5th highest in CUSA or in other words is the 5th most productive player per minute in CUSA which is what it really is. Like Richmond (who's ranked 10th) he hasn't played enough minutes to compile the kind of stats to really warrant all conference consideration like guys like T. Thomas, Kemp, Clanton, Sykes etc on the list have. Doesn't mean he hasn't been the 5th most dominate force in the league when he's on the court because he has, and PER certainly identifies that.

Not on a public board, and it was always more about Lebo and him playing struggling players over players actually producing like Richmond and Kemp the last two year than the actual players. The apologists I was arguing with defending the rotations would also try to run down Richmond and Kemp's games or size to make their point and defend the rotations which you didn't mention as well.
