Championship Weekend Idea
Instead of having conference tournaments spread out over nearly two weeks, why not arrange it to where nearly all of the champions (and automatic bids) are handed out in one weekend?

Here's what a sample schedule for the ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU would look like on the day before Selection Sunday:

11:10 AM - Big South, NEC, MAAC
1:20 PM - OVC, SoCon, SWAC
3:30 PM - Horizon, Patriot, Southland
5:40 PM - MAC, A-Sun, Summit
7:50 PM - Sun Belt, Big Sky, WAC
10:00 PM - Mountain West, WCC, Big West

Sunday
12:00 PM - CAA, America East, MAC

This presumes all of the Big 5, both Big Easts, the A-10, MVC, and C-USA are picked up by OTA networks or ESPN's cable competitors. The Ivy League had no tournament.
