Doubtful. We're already signed with FOX through '16. The new network will just be another outlet they can show our games through.

CUSA lost the premiere bball team from the conference, SMU, Houston,ECU,UCF, and possible in the future Tulsa to the conference formerly known as the nBE in football.
That leaves USM as the premiere football team in CUSA...with no dominant basketball team.
I'm sorry...I do not see tv execs jumping up and down and getting into a major bidding war over CUSA 3.0 under that scenario.
Everyone involved...the nBE, CUSA , teams leaving have been a loser in this deal.

Fox has a ton of air time to fill. They renegotiate with both B12 and CUSA. The nBe's contract isn't big. It wouldn't take much to jump it.

Yes and no.. It'd be funny due to ECU's due dilligence to get into the Big East.. But I'd be saddened because as much as I view ECU as a rival and covet some of the success they have (like high attendance at ballgames), they don't deserve that.

They don't deserve the turd sandwich Aresco and company have offered them either.

nBe to be renamed the Captain America Conference.. With the licensing from Marvel and a new contract, all teams will get about $1 billion per team each year.. Doesn't matter if a team joins or leaves the price never changes.
