I thought the uni's used in the Memphis game were a great touch. For Latino Heritage Day/Week/Month, right?

It was "Noche Latina" or Latin Night last night.

I liked the unis as well.

During halftime, there was a Mariachi band, playing the fight song... Not sure if it was the same Mariachi Mineros band that consists of students...

Lattin sure talks a lot. He even said so. His speech ran into the mariachi bands time. It wasn't any good as far as a latin night was concerned but it really doesn't make any difference to me as we can always listen to mariachi music in el paso, tan-tan.

This reminds me of one time that we were at the super bowl party and the stars spangled banner was sung differently and with a piano. We started throwing around other scenarios and my niece said that if they ever play it with a mariachi band they would end it with, tan-tan. That's because all ranchera music ends that way. LOL

Did they give away free tacos too?

The outcome of the game was NO BUENO for Miner fans.

El Paso is probably the toughest place in CUSA to play a road game. Those gym type courts where the fans are right on top of you are pretty intimidating. I'd gladly trade that type of atmosphere for the FXF. I bet the beer is cheaper too.

Thanks. I understand the value of playing in an NBA arena but I absolutely love The Don. No dividing concourse. All permanent chairs. Like you said, every seat and row is on top of you. True college basketball arena.
