2014 ACC Football Recruiting
Unsurprisingly Miami, Florida State, Clemson, and Virginia Tech are leading the way early on.

One of the top prospects in the country, Quin Blanding, is currently committed to UVA.

Georgia Tech, NC State, and Wake Forest are the only ACC schools without a commit for 2014, yet.

Yesterday, 'Cuse got its first 2014 commit.

Naesean Howard from West Genesee High in Camillus a suburb of Syracuse. He plays RB and DB for West Genesee. Scott Shafer is interested in him playing free safety, and Howard says he prefers defense to offense.

He's got notable offers from Boston College, Nebraska, Syracuse, and Utah.

37 TD's passing to 1 INT?

Damn that's good but how were the teams he played against?

How good were his WRs? Did he have 1 or 2 all state WRs?

Honestly, I'm not sure. Rivals and ESPN list him as the only recruit from his school in their databases. (Scout and 247 don't seem to have databases on specific high schools). I'm also not entirely sure of his competition level. ESPN is pretty high on him, having him as the 6th best prospect out of Tennessee. 247 has him as the 17th out of Tennessee.

Good get. I'm not trying to rain on your parade. If he didn't have all-world receivers then he's probably even better.

It's great to once again see SU getting some recruits with offers from those schools rather than the usual UConn, Temple, and MAC schools.

Cheers,
Neil
