It's basically a Catholic Conference... the only non-catholic of the ten is Butler University, and they use to be known as "North Western Christian University" so even it has its roots in religion.

Enfield would be smart to stay right where he is; he lives in a beautiful area, has a hot wife whom I am sure loves the area and he has a beautiful campus and a great style of play that recruits will love.

Plus, he will now have job security and am I sure a nice pay raise. Ask Skip Holtz: the grass is not always greener...

True, but if FGCU can keep the HC"s wife, she alone will be able to recruit talent sufficient for them to continue winning. 04-jawdrop

Before coaching basketball, he founded a company that's now worth $100 million. I doubt that job security is a concern.

POTENTIAL BASKETBALL POWER. They made Georgetown their girlfriend.

Not to mention, have you seen their campus?? Coming off their tourney success, this is why I strongly believe their recruiting will skyrocket. They wont be a flash in the pan.

That campus looks like it will wash out to sea in the next minor storm. And their tiny endowment gives me great doubts as to whether they'd even rebuild. Way too big of a risk given the frequency of hurricanes in Florida.

That "beach" is on a glorified retention pond. It's not getting washed out by anything. Don't be fooled by how the picture is framed into thinking it's actually on the coastline. It's a man-made beach on a man-made body of water on the inland side of I-75.

That is actually a man made lake. FGCU is miles away from the Gulf, so they'll be fine. Unlike FAU which is only a mile away from the Atlantic Ocean. Moreover, it is actually pretty rare for the area between Ft. Myers and the Big Bend area to get a direct hit by a hurricane or a tropical storm. In fact, Tampa hasn't had a direct hit of a hurricane in about 100 years.

Hmmm.....I'm 17, 18 years old and looking at the (non) man-made ucf campus beach, the non man-made ohio state beach and the man-made FGCU beach wondering just which one is drawing my attention.
