More problems at UNC?
http://outfront.blogs.cnn.com/2013/03/25...s-student/

Academic/atheltic dept. scandal nonwithstanding, UNC is under federal investigation for how it handled to sexual assault allegations. One victim was told by an administrator that "rape is like football."

UNC could be in for more hot water over this.

The same thing can be said of many, many campuses, including the service academies.

That was a big problem at Montana, and they fired their football coach and AD over it.

This didn't involve the athletic department. And it isn't all together cut and dry that they did anything wrong, or that the boy actually raped her. There is a lot to the story.

The issue for UNC here is how they handled the investigation of sexual assault. That could be a violation of the Clery Act, which could jeopardize UNC's Federal funding.

That was one football player, in one case. There were many incidents at Montana, read this: http://www.thebiglead.com/index.php/2012...stigation/

Well, whomever is turning up the heat on these ACC schools, UNC is going to end up needing them.

The investigators are dead serious with their digging around it seems. There are cursory investigations and then there are investigations where the investigators are told by superiors that they better damn well find something real good.

THe NCAA needs to be cleaned up. IT's not just UNC. Many of the football players are not college students, have no business in college and should be playing in some type of semi pro league rather than on college campuses. We've heard these stories all over the country how universities are protecting these athletes that should by all accounts be in jail. When is it going to end.

The first girl in the video said she was assaulted off campus, and she chose not to call the police? Why?

She said why... "her attacker was unknown to her".

... and "a culture of deliberate indifference".

Understandable and common.

The NCAA is determined to keep UNC out of trouble. Nothing to see here.
