That was the Schnellenberger "The NC goes through louisville" year (I believe).....problem was, that top notch ul team had to go through Hattiesburg.

They would have won that championship, too... and that was probably their only chance.

UAB will be WKU's biggest rival in CUSA...this rivalry was way more intense than the recent MT games over the last 12 years. Those UAB games were awesome...classic battles.

It's too early for North Texas to have a rivalry with any of the teams in C-USA and I don't hate any of them. I just want North Texas to beat everyone.

When we were in CUSA, I hated Memphis and UAB.

Really? Didn't seem like they were really good in football when we played them and we're historically far superior in basketball.

UTEP's rivals are in the MWC.

I don't think UTEP never develop any rivalries in C-USA. There were some fun and close games that went either way but I never thought Tulsa, SMU, Rice, Houston, Tulane, etc saw UTEP as a rival. It was more like a division opponent and I'm sure it will remail the same in C-USA 3.0

Rice is the only school left that we have shared a conference for almost 20 years. I can't hate Rice, I really respect that school so much that I can't have any negative feelings toward them.

I want UtEP to head west. Nothing for them now in the east
