What a way to begin the season. I know it is the Astros, but those are some insanely sick numbers.

Doesn't matter who they throw it against, its an amazing achievement. I wish I would get lucky enough to see one in person, even if it was a Yankee pitching one against my Red Sox.

Probably it was better for Darvish not to get the perfect game. Ask ex-Rice pitcher Philip Humber about the perfect game curse (he pitched an early perfect game last year for Chicago and then was pretty bad the rest of the season). Humber starts for the Astros tomorrow by the way.

after this season is over, the Stros will have amassed three consecutive 100 loss seasons. their payroll is less than ARod's salary.

you nearly no hit them, and you didn't even suit up.

The best line from the night was from Bill Simmons. He said something to the effect of, "Don't worry. You'll get to see someone throw a perfect game against the Astros this season."
