Tekyl easily gunned out at home. I don't know, maybe not a terrible move with 2 outs, anticipating that they would make a throw to first there.. which was very possible.

First base fumbles Byrds bunt, but throw Teykl out easily trying to score from third. Rice leads 1-0 going into the ECU half of the second inning.

Huh, is Gametracker correct?? It says that Byrd hit into an FC, 1st to 3rd to get Teykl (with the catcher covering)??

I don't know for certain, but all the hits were with two strikes. The last one was up. He is not dominating because he is giving each batter a pitch in which to hit. He is keeping them off the board however. It shows maturity to hang in there without your best stuff.
