Third local QB they've offered.

Deshaunte Jones, Thomas MacVittie, and now Peyton Ramsey. Deshaunte was offered as WR though.

If that's a result of the Brian Kelly era, and it's an indication of UC finally reaping the rewards locally of those BCS Bowl games, top 10 ranking, etc, that's really encouraging to hear.

Cool to hear, and it starts somewhere, but I hope that we start catching on with the 5-star OL'men as well as the 2-star QB's.

RE: FB Class of 2016
If Ramsey improves between his Junior and Senior year anywhere close to how much he did last summer, he's going to rack up offers.

Elder should be damn good too, provided they're able to avoid injuries this year.

I agree, Ramsey created a lot on his own last year. He has a better supporting cast on paper.

Quote:Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech linebacker Tim Walton may have gotten a little overshadowed during the season at times, but that is no longer the case, as schools know about him now. Cincinnati and several others have offered him recently. He's a good athlete who shows ability in space and that has colleges intrigued

Quote:Jonah Williams - OT - Folsom (Calif.) - 2016

The West's No. 1 offensive lineman, Williams picked up four SEC offers, from Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt and an AAC offer from Cincinnati in the last week.

Murrieta (Calif.) Murrieta Valley offensive lineman Nathan Smith was offered by Cincinnati

Ramsey was amazing last year IMO. Quite honestly Elder had little to no talent in their senior class last year. Elder played surprisingly well until the final month of the season when the wheels completely fell off. Next season should be a different story. They still need to find someone who can run a defense though.

Marcus, IMO the wheels came off because Ramsey was so beat up... he created on his own and had an amazing year. I think a full season of his running up and down the field and absorbing hits caught up to him. I expect his recruitment to explode. I'd love to see the Bearcats land him.

It definitely did wear on him. He had to do so much on his own. I think it's even taken a toll on his basketball season.

The biggest issue though was the defense last year for Elder. They couldn't stop anyone the last month of the season.

I'd love to see UC get him as well. I did hear that he also picked up offers from BC and Wake Forest in the last few days.

it's already starting. Lower level P5s are offering him en masse. i think i read Pitt, Wake and BC have all sent in offer sheets of late. What is our relationship with Elder like these days?
