The bottom line is that ODU already gives CUSA a presence in the state of Virginia. That being the case, it would seem to me that CUSA would be more interested in Delaware or a Missouri State if they decided to go the FCS route. That would get them into two totally different viewing audiences. I seriously doubt they go the FCS route this time. JMU likely goes to the Belt or stays put in FCS. Might get a shot in the Mac.

Missouri St is interesting.... id like to see us add Arkansas st and 1 other team in the West if we could find someone worth inviting and interested in joining. If we add anyone else in the East then id like to see us add JMU. They are a better add than Delaware or Ga St (just tasted puke in my mouth just mentioning them lol) Not sure who else in the East is a realistic add. I know most disagree but I wish we would have invited App St.

You are a WVIAC fan and not a Marshall fan, you think way to small. Go support Wheeling Jesuit or West Liberty. You are probably one that thinks WL could have beat Marshall this year.

Well said.04-cheers
Personally, I strongly believe CUSA is finished with the FCS route for future additions. There isn't much to gain going that direction especially if SOS and how competitive a conference is could potentially determine future league earnings.

I agree. I think they are done with the FCS adds for now. If there is an FBS program available that will add enough value then I think CUSA will pull the trigger. Otherwise we stay at 14.

I think CUSA will play the next move safe and practical. The conference needs a couple of schools who's football programs are established and successful in the FBS, but schools who also balance the geography. Arkansas State and Louisiana-Lafayette do both.
