It's early but interesting to see where the top of the ACC stands at this point.

Lunardi has six (seven if you include Louisville) ACC teams making the tournament: Duke as a 1, Syracuse (and Louisville) as a 2, UNC, as a 3, Virginia as a 4, ND as a 6 and Pitt as an 8.

Miami is in the first four out.

Out of GT, Maryland, NCSU, Wake, FSU, BC, Miami at least 2 I think will make the tourney. They might be 11 or 12 seeds but they get in. That will put the ACC at 8 teams.

I'd be happy with a winning record and an NIT bid.

How was Tech's recruiting class this year?

RE: 2013-14 Bracketology
This is the matchup I find most interesting:

Raleigh
1 Duke
16 North Carolina Central

anyone who knows the history of those 2 schools - which are both located in Durham, NC by the way, just a short drive from Raleigh - will know what I'm talking about.

We signed 4 players. A 4-star 2 3-stars and a 2-star and the CAA Freshman of the year point guard transferred. That would have given us 13 scholarship players but Robert Brown is transferring out to be closer to his family. It'll be the first time in 3 years we've had any thing close to a full compliment of players. We'll just have to see if JJ can coach them up.

Edit : We also signed 2 other PG's who haven't signed yet. Devin Wilson is supposed to sign this week. The other guy Malik Meuller is from Braunschweig, Germany. I don't know why he hasn't signed yet but he is 19 and was on the German National team.
