I don't think this will be a problem. The magnitude of his criticism certainly would have been larger than the magnitude of his love fest. No doubt about that.

I'd rather hear about what the man has accomplished rather than the minute things he gets consistently criticized for.

Geez, I never would have known the Heat won. All these fireworks going off are quite distracting...

There's one positive that comes from this: Tomorrow starts the journey of the Larry O'Brien to Chicago!

Nah, Rose will probably take another year off until he really, really feels 100%.

Da Bulls, healthy.
Da Pacers, experienced
Da Bricks, get their sh* together

The cHeat will have a hard road back to the Finals. Especially if D Wade doesn't get that knee right.

On the Western Conference side

Hmmm

Spurs maybe
Lakers NO
Thunder high maybe, a year w/o Harden might help them out...also if Westbrook is back
can't sleep on Golden State or Memphis.

There was no such thing as a Miami Heat fan 4 years ago. This is laughable.

Half of those "fans" there last night were confused as to why they didn't put the ball on the ground and kick it around.

You need to get out more, there's a great big world right over that Appalachian ridge.

Sometimes I think ECU is trying to corner the market on ignoramuses if this board is any indication of their general population. Is this really what it means to be from eastern North Carolina?

I'll be honest, I never thought much of the Heat.. When Shaq went, I paid a little attention (I was a Shaq fan for years). It's amazing what a few championships will do to a franchise.

RE: OT: 2013 NBA Playoffs
I got to give Maimi one thing, out of the last 6 expansion teams Charlotte/New Orleans Hornets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors, and Vancouver/Memphis Grizzlies they have had the best results in terms of 3 titles. The Magic would qualify as second best as they got the Finals against the Rockets back in the mid 90s. KG got Minnesota close a few times. The Hornets could never break through even with all the talent they had.

Ehh, Miami's had a good fanbase for a while... Now, the nationwide Heat fans are another issue, but I know down here in the 305 it's definitely been Heat country for more than 4 years...

Way to go Heat! Proud Miami Heat fan for ALL of its 25 year existence, enjoying this ride....Back 2 Back Champs!

P.S. San Antonio Spurs are just a classy organization. Heck of a series with such highs and lows.

Late to the party, but was looking back at the thread. I have avoided all things NBA since we lost Game 7.

Ginobili had to stay in. With Parker hurt/shut down by Lebron, the Spurs have no one else that can create their own shot. It was leave Ginobili in or watch Parker dribble the shot clock to four and shoot a three or maybe watch Danny Green dribble into a double team or turnover.

The Spurs did not take their lack of a backup PG seriously and it burned them.

Ginobili still has something left in the tank, but he can't perform in the role we asked him to during the Finals.
