As if that will ever happen. Way to go Aresco. Had to sign with ESpin didn't you. 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

Oh come on any day now ESPN is going to start being helpful. You just wait and see. 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

But... But... ESPN bought us! They must really LIKE us. Right?!?! 03-lmfao

In all seriousness though, it was a smart move by ESPN. They know we are FAR better than their smear campaign painted us... They got quality content to fill up the remaining slots on their networks, for a paltry cost. Good move.

Been wondering about that... If they would keep an AAC blog, and not start a MWC blog. If they do, then you are surely right. Like it or not, ESPN rules the world.

A bunch of people who know nothing about sports apparently handle a lot of the technical stuff for Yahoo Sports. They did the same thing on the FCS page when the Gateway changed its name to the MVFC a few years ago ... simply left a big empty hole there for three or four months ... when they should have waited until July 1 to make the change. They also never acknowledged the Great West until this winter, listing the members as independents until finally adding the GWC in November, and now must delete it in July. It's like dejavu all over again.

2 things:

1. It is not July 1st, 2013 yet, so there is no way that ESPN can possibly promote the American Athletic Conference when right now, there is not such entity named the American Athletic Conference until July 1st, 2013.

2. There is no way that a MWC blog will be started by ESPN, because that conference is not even under contract with the network. It would be counter-productive to their business. The AAC will be the top "non-aq" football product on ESPN, so I could easily see the AAC blog continuing if most of the teams don't just turn to crap over the next 12 months.

If UCONN brought it, the contract might have been better.

Maybe the incoming teams did not help, but give me a break.

Yea great logic. Uconn being the 4th most popular football team and most likely number 1 bball program in the market is why this contract sucks. This board has really been going off the deep end lately. Uconns women's basketball bumps Syracuse to tape delays in nyc and made over a million in tier 3 rights from a nyc based sports station but your right UCONN hurt the contract.

Then why aren't you in the BIG or ACC instead of the other schools. Give me a break.

Maybe the incoming teams did not help, but give me a break. I have nothing against UCONN, but it does not seem that the school is relevant when it comes to realignment.

Your right were not relevant in realignment. We were too busy being relevant winning national championships and conference championships which is what college sports used to be about.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. It behooves us all to take a few minutes to let Yahoo Sports know how we feel about it. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
