Another reason to reign in college sports - NKU AD steals $150k
NKU: Eaton took $150k

This should put to rest the idea proposed by that UNC chancellor that Presidents should allow athletic departments to run themselves. There is way too much money involved, and the people in charge hold way too much power over their underlings. Whenever you throw those two ingredients together, there is a high potential for abuse.

NKU might be small-time, but they have thrown big money into sports lately. Since 2006, they built a $64 million basketball arena, a $6.5 million soccer stadium, and jumped to D-1.

And here's the kicker - he did this for eight years before getting caught.

Yep, several employees and one student. Allegedly, one of the women was the Director of NCAA Compliance (she resigned a few weeks ago).

As Bill Murray said in the movie Stripes "Lee Harvey, your a mad man. When you stole the cow and your friend tried to make it with the cow. I want to party with you cowboy".

this has nothing to do with college sports

this happens in pretty much every type of business and organization from little leagues to Fortune 500 companies
