I would settle for this, but the Poulan Weedeater Bowl, or the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl just sounds ridiculous...even if it's for a noble cause.

It should be called the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. That doesn't hurt Chick-fil-A in the least and it adds continuity to the process.

Also, now that the CFA Peach Bowl is a part of the BCS, the ATL should add another bowl game to be played between the ACC and SEC.

Exactly. Names like GoDaddy.com bowl just do not cut it. Come up with a name and stick to it.

Looks like per ESPN this is the case. And you are right. Should be on the dollar menu.

Chick-Fil-A already seasonally promotes Peach milkshakes.

It would have to be an old item that is returning to the menu...as the Peach Bowl has already been renamed the Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl once before. This would be the second time. I do love their peach shakes though!

i love this and i hope it happens. the problem from the corporate side is that if you are the title sponsor but maintain the traditional name, your sponsorship gets dropped in 90% of the mentions of the game. when you knock off the traditional name that does not happen.

I would prefer for the bowls to be something like 'The Rose Bowl Game presented by Citi,' though for less-prominent games like the Godaddy.com Bowl, I can see why they wouldn't say the Mobile Bowl presented by Godaddy.com. Chik-Fil-A Peach Bowl is a nice compromise though, hopefully we can see the Outback Tangerine Bowl, Capital One Citrus Bowl, and Meineke Car Care Texas Bowl, etc. coming up soon. Maaco is apparently dropping its sponsorship, so that ridiculous Maaco Bowl Las Vegas can be renamed.

It would actually be the outback hall of fame bowl and the champs sports tangerine bowl im full of useless knowledge like that

You mean you don't like the tradition of the San Diego County Credit Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl?

Gary Stoken, the CEO of the Chikfila Bowl and kick off classic, was just on 790 the Zone in Atlanta. He said the current Chikfila Bowl is going away. In the RFP for the playoff, there was a request not to have a bowl in the same city 7 days after and 7 days before the playoff game.

So the Big 12 and SEC are looking for a replacement for the Cotton and the SEC and ACC are looking for a replacement for the Peach.

Two more teams will get in the major bowls. The 2 team limit is off. BUT, it is going to be based on merit. Otherwise those two extra teams would overwhelmingly be SEC and B1G. Still, SEC probably replaces 1 of those 2 lost bowl slots. Other slot gets split between the other 4 conferences. Based on history, it would be Big 12 more than the others, but not that much more.
