Arizona @ UNLV
Colorado vs Colorado State in Denver
Fresno State at Colorado
Hawaii @ Oregon State
Oregon State @ San Diego State
San Jose State @ Stanford
Nevada @ UCLA
New Mexico State @ UCLA (not a MWC school but you get the idea)
USC @ Hawaii
Utah State @ USC
Utah State @ Utah
Utah @ BYU (what once was the MWC rivalry)
Boise State @ Washington
Idaho @ Washington State (they're only 8 miles apart)

That's 11 Pac-12/MWC games this year.

the thing is, of the 11, only 3 are home and 1 is neutral site.

The Pac-12 TV deal changed everything. Before that it was usual for a Pac-10 school to play 1 and 1's with the MWC and WAC. Now they have extra money so one and dones, 2-1 or even 3-1's will be the norm. Basketball will still be mostly 1 and 1's and the MWC has been the better basketball league the last few years.

I'd kind of think the impact of the new tv deal isn't even really into play yet.

It has. The Pac-10 used to be fair to the MWC and WAC about signing home and home deals. After expansion, their new TV deal and the death of the WAC, they're still playing MWC schools but it's now under their terms. Schools like Washington State have these extra $$$$ that they didn't have before so now they can demand a one and done or 2-1's instead of a home and home. I don't see basketball changing in that direction since there's more flexibility in scheduling OOC and it's not like the Pac-12 has been strong in hoops lately.

fb schedules are done a lot more in advance than just 1-2 years. I wouldn't say you'll see the true impact of the deal for another 2-3 years quite frankly.

Colorado is playing at UMass which I found kinda odd.

That's the first game of a 2/1 series; the other two games in the series are in Boulder. But the matchup of teams doesn't make a lot of sense for either team, I agree.

I knew it was a 2-1 but I found it odd those two schools are playing. It's not like the states of Colorado and Massachusetts offer tons of recruits for exposure purposes. Either Colorado is desperate or UMass needed the money so bad. Maybe it's both.

I'd guess that UMass needed to do anything to get another home game to satisfy the 5 home game requirement, so they agreed to give CU two home games in the future in exchange for the first game in Foxboro, with CU having to pay little or no money to get the extra home game. But who knows.

Not necessarily. If you look at next year's OOC schedules, some Pac-12 schools are still looking for opponents. Some schools especially the strong BCS programs like USC schedule way in advance but it's not like schools are lining up to play Wazzu or Oregon State. Another thing to consider is the Pac-12 is playing 9 conference games now. So that leaves 3 OOC games instead of 4. So the Pac-12 can tell the MWC "we'll still play you but it's under our terms now otherwise we'll call MAC, C-USA, AAC and Sun Belt schools. Take it or leave it"

When CU jumped to the PAC, its previously scheduled OOC games against PAC teams had to be (mostly) canceled. Apparently, neither Cal nor CU could reschedule their 2011 game and it was counted as OOC. Filling those open dates created some unusual match ups including the embarrassing loss to Sacramento State in 2012 and a future game against Grambling.

Yeah. I think if the MWC can get 4 homes games a year from PAC 12 teams its a win.

Already play more than that every year.

This year, Fresno plays Colorado, Reno plays UCLA, Hawaii hosts SC, Boise plays Washington, SDSU hosts Washington, I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones I know off the top of my head.

I meant in terms of hosting. Maybe 4 homes games, 8 road games every year kind of deal.
