Texas Tech- Arkansas schedule possible Home/Home in 2014-15

Have heard the same MT ‏@Arkansas_Logo Rumor has it Arkansas will play a home-home with Texas Tech in 2014-2015. #WPS

Looks like Arkansas will come to Lubbock in 2014 and we will go there in 2015. If true, we will have Arkansas, West Virginia, Texas and Oklahoma at home in 2014 and then play them on the road in 2015. Good to see an old SWC opponent on the schedule.

Rutgers gets the Hogs at home this year. Would be a big win at home heading into their first season of B1G play. They beat them last year in Fayetteville, so the Ravorbacks should be showing up with revenge on their minds.

If Rutgers sweeps them, that will be an outcome only the super die hard Scarlet Knights fans could have possibly seen from this series when it was scheduled.

Going in to last season I did have that game penciled in as a win. This season I've had penciled in as a loss. I'd be ecstatic if we pulled off a sweep. It would be serious momentum going into our inaugural Big Ten season.

Was that before or after the Petrino bike ride? Before not a lot of people were penciling that in as a win for Rutgers.

Both to be honest. I really expected the defense to be as good as it was.

I'm not too excited about Texas Tech/Arkansas...........it's a shame it's not Texas/Arkansas, that would be a series worth paying for!

Sounds like a very profitable home stand for 2014 with those Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma coming into town. Will you be able to sell the stadium in 2015 though.

I'm glad to see us play TT again. It has been a long time. I hope we continue playing them in other sports like basketball and baseball.

Last season we became a dumpster fire real quick after the Monroe game. It wasn't your defense that won the game. It was our defense making your QB look like Peyton Freaking Manning. But ya'll won and the spoils go to the victor.

I wouldn't be excited about North Carolina/Tech because no one cares about UNC in this state. Texas and A&M have both played Arkansas recently OOC so it's good for this state to have high profile power 4 conference teams play members of the SEC.

Tech fans show up despite the opponent. We have SFA, Tx State, TCU, Kansas State & Oklahoma St at home this year and we will probably break another all time high in terms of season tickets sold and average attendance.

Hawg, I'm excited about this game. Arkansas is one of my 2nd favorite teams and I can't wait to see a game in Fayetteville.

I was hoping that the Southwest Classic game that we play against A&M would have become a rotating game amongst all the old SWC member. An Arkansas versus history sorta thing. But I'll take what I can get.

If 10th is correct, Arkansas is going to lose their Thanksgiving weekend game vs LSU. I wouldn't mind playing Arkansas in Arlington on Turkey weekend. Definitely better than playing Baylor in Arlington.

A&M vs LSU on Thanksgiving is not official but it has been talked about since in 2014 Arkansas will switch their permanent cross division game from South Carolina to bordermate Missouri (despite being in opposite divisions, Fayetteville is closer to Columbia, MO than anywhere else in the conference)

The theory is that the Gulf War game and the new Arkansas/Missouri game will both be played that final rivalry week of Thanksgiving.

Again, nothing official has been decided yet and probably won't until after this coming season.

Yep. That Arky-Mizzou game will turn into a major rivalry very quickly.
