Championship rings for the original CAA FB Champs 2012

Even though ODU beat the crap out of CAA FB teams and won it in 2012 Mr. D**k Head Tom Yeager and his fellow bu** lickers denied ODU the title so our AD decided to give them championship rings and finally he stood by his decision.

The rings look pretty cool too.

It hurts to see CAA on the ring but without the rings are meaningless. Nevertheless i am happy the players getting recognized.

Good move by ODU. I hate this phrase, but it sounds like the commissioner of the CAA has some serious butthurt going on.

Who bought them? The AD personally? Student funds?

Oh and it was privately funded through ODAF's championship ring drive.

There is one thing not correct in that story. C-USA leaving can not host postseason conference tournaments, they can host the football championship game, but none of the tournaments.

CAA has always been vindictive conference and it probably because of ECU that ODU couldn't claim any title. We were bared from the post season tournaments our last year before joining C-USA for all sports. That year (2001) we won the regular season baseball title.
