RE: SEC Check in Thread
Looks like we've got the whole family on board except for Miss State, now with Ole Blue representing VU, right? Or are we missing the Gators still?

I know we have some Gator folks on CSNBBS. Don't let us all talk about you. That also goes for MS State. We need your opinions here...

After retiring from the USAF in 1999, I went to work for TRICARE/ Humana Military Healthcare Services. I can tell you that Vanderbilt is an awesome med center. Sent a ton of military and their families to Vandy for treatment. Big time facility. Another was UAB Med Center. This is why I laugh when people say the South/SEC folks don't measure up... these med centers are among the tops in the country...
Vanderbilt's Medical Center has the highest survival rate of any transplant center in the country, and is the best hospital in the south IMO...

Checking in. My aunt converted me to UGa at a very early age, despite living in traditional Tide/Tiger territory. A lot of my friends try to get me to support one of those two teams other than mine, but I just ignore it, and keep on supporting my team. :) Conference realignment plus a desire to have a fresh perspective on the SEC brought me here. BTW, who will challenge for the Fulmer Cup this year, LOL? (Fulmer Cup: team w/ most arrests)

You never know, Eww Tee could make a comeback...
Also, I went to a few summer camps waaaay back when at VU when I was still in the Nashville area, and yes - Vandy does have one of the best med programs in the nation. I didn't take med classes specifically but I took some "gen ed" summer med HS courses which were so, so neat.

Dang it's just not fair to the Mississippi schools. There just aren't enough places to get into trouble in Oxford and Starkville. You've got to drive an hour from Oxford to get to Memphis and Starkville is in the middle of nowhere. What's a Bulldog going to do to get arrested? Drive to the outlet malls in Fayette and shoplift? Lightweights. I'd say LSU has the inside track and Tennessee and Florida have dark horse potential.

Now you know that the M.S.U. players drive an hour to the strip in Tuscaloosa to get arrested. That's where all of Shula's players went to get arrested with them.

...nice to see the SEC boards get cranked up... I grew up an Aubie fan, and it's still my SEC team, of course, but... been a Blazer from the team's inception... been to every D-I (FBS) home game UAB has played since 96... that's a LOT of visits to Legion Field...
We have LSU and Vandy this year... currently, we HAVE to be the only team out there who is 1-0 lifetime against LSU, yet 0-1 against Vandy...
...anyway, welcome, y'all!

20oz here... Found you guys on the ESPN boards. Currently have an e-home, but would be interested in replacing that home as they show little interest in growing the site and gaining more discussion.
Grew up in the Atlanta burbs, graduated with my MMR from UGA's business school and I'm currently a sales/marketing director for a large construction firm.
I am not your average thin skinned poster and I have a history of pushing buttons in heated debates, so please warn me if I'm taking discussion too far. I enjoy serious debates about college football, but will entertain just about any conversation.

Oh, you will do very well here then. We have some great moderators who let us go at it. They know when to kill the thread, usually when the name calling starts. Anyway, welcome!

The name calling thing will take some time to get used to, lol. I throw around such names like, Dicknose and Hombre all the time. Built quiet the habit, ha! Thanks for the heads up and the welcome!
Looking forward to the 2013 season.
