Seriously, when will it end and those fans accept the fact that their lack of FB tradition, suckish recruiting grounds and lack of penetration in their own markets, i.e. getting New England to embrace CFB is what held them back? It drives me nuts the way they carry on about how they are so much better than Pitt, SU or UL and that they deserved to get into the ACC over our 3 schools. Normally I don't let things bother me on these boards, but these guys are sooooo obnoxious that it drives me up the wall. Just because some hack Boston Globe writer speculates that UCONN was a "slam dunk" for the ACC until BC nixed the deal, it doesn't make it true. Their argument crumbles when they hang their "failures" on BC - who objectively has next to no voice in the ACC when it comes to voting in new members. Does anyone seriously think that BC could blackball ANYONE??? No offense to BC, but I seriously doubt that any school not named UNC, FSU or Clemson can blackball anyone.
