We have gotten active on the SECBBS, at the prompting of GTS. We still need the rest of you SEC folks to come over and help out. All schools should be in our discussions, which have gotten pretty interesting. I am really enjoying the new discussions. Come on over. The other conferences should do the same. That is all...

When I click "Conferences" link at the top I do not see an SEC link.

Scroll down to the inactive area and you'll see it.

We are having some really good discussions now on the SEC board. I am finding it as interesting as the CR board. I wonder what it takes to get off the Inactive list? Would be nice to have that happen.

Honestly, due to the sheer number of posters there's a great chance that it will eventually fizzle out if new topics aren't posted everyday. I'd wait a few weeks to see if the current rate of activity continues or not.

Despite not having as many posters as other forums there have been more posts on the SEC Board than a lot of forums already on the network so kudos.

I hadn't noticed the activity. But I've been kind of preoccupied with medical issues the last week or so...

I'll have to pop in. Living in east Tennessee, I can't avoid discussions about UT. So I have a bit of an interest...

Weird how only one of the P5 FB conferences is active. (I say FB conference because there are 6 in BBall. )

Need more of the Big Ten posters over here to go to the Big Ten Board too.

I don't know that your assessment is necessarily true. I surfed for about 2 years before I ever bothered to post on any site. Then I tried 5 of the SEC sites and enjoyed only 1. I found they fell into several categories. Those that only parroted what was in the news. Those that were constantly hijacked by 1 agenda people or trolls. Those that were essentially rants operating as talk rooms, and one that actually did what this board does, dissect, speculate, and analyze the news. That makes for good discussion. I came here because I know the SEC perspective from reading the news and checking the conference site, and having traveled much of the region. Here I am informed by those who are doing the aforementioned but from the perspectives of the different regions. Who knew how much acrimony there was in the New England area over the ACC / Big East moves? Certainly not many from the Southeast knew the depth of feeling. And, the B1G perspective is quite different from the approach of the SEC when it comes to realignment. And I would never have had the chance to discuss the PAC with folks if not here.

I think we will get more SEC posters. It won't happen overnight, but when we do they will be those who want discussions, not rants, not rehashed headlines, and not insults.
