Depends on the time and day.

It'll take minimum one hour to get to Glen Burnie from DC proper without traffic. Where in NOVA?

Wow - that is long drive - it would be the Tues-Sat before Labor Day. Time needed to be a field could range from 8 am to noon.

NoVa Fields in Clifton.
Other fields in Laurel and Upper MArlboro, MD

Those are some crappy parts of Maryland.

Unless you need to be in DC for something else, it makes more sense to stay in Maryland and do one long, long haul to Clifton.

I'd recommend staying in Annapolis. It's roughly 1/2 hr from the three Maryland games, beautiful, and it'll let you avoid most of the DC traffic.

It'll be 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get to Clifton from Annapolis but the rest of the drives will be much easier.

We have been thinking about it -- we will only be playing likely at one of the complexes (for our division), but they won't let us know when until a few weeks before tourney. The host hotels are all in Downtown DC, so everyone wants to be with the other teams.

I'd prefer to stay in MD.

Where in DC are the host hotels? You may not want to stay there if they paid you.

Metro Center is better area but both will be fine. Neither are remotely convenient to getting to those suburban areas. Parking will also run $30 to $40 per day

WE have been warned on the parking. It really is not a great set up this year - fields too far away. But, if you stay at the fields, nothing to do when not playing.
