If there is no way to get into MSG with @ least a 3 years their &. 3 years Greensboro then just go to the 3 years Greensboro & 1 year rotation of Charlotte, Washington & if possible Barclays. If the Barclays is booked would like to see the Fleet Center in Boston.

Playing the finals on Sunday opens the possibility of playing the ACC tournament in NYC at a combination of Barclays and MSG without altering the BE tournament. The ACC could play its semifinals and finals at MSG on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, with earlier rounds played at Barclays.

Whoever you sign with will want the whole tournament.

Continued Big Ten aggression may force the ACC to move to MSG just to block them.
Thoughts?

doubt it!!! MSG already has a contract with another conference , like i said before the most likely thing short term is high profile noncon games like the ACC/B1G challenge at MSG.

might be that ACC might move up the tourney by 1 week, take out of the box solutions to maximize exposure

Well you actually decrease exposure since you will be all but forgotten during championship week since your season is over. That could hurt some ACC bubble teams and even the top teams getting seeded. Thats why I think the idea of moving up will get little support from coaches and AD's.

The B1G is talking to Barclays not MSG.

RE: MSG still in play for ACC?
I say just keep the ACCT in Greensboro. It is a great place for it. The media will cover the ACCT regardless of where it is held and Greensboro is a central location. Set up a three day Holiday Classic over the Christmas Holiday at MSG featuring four ACC teams and four "guests". One of the four teams from the ACC could always be one of the big draws in NY, ND, Duke, UNC or Syracuse (never more than one in any given year) and one of the visitors could always be a local fav from the NBE or AAC along with some national powers and up and comers. This would give the ACC plenty of NYC exposure along with the usual MSG games during any given year involving Duke, Syracuse, ND etc.
