Just to update, Rivals bumped Aaron Ruff up to a 4 star, our first high school 4 star on Rivals.

SMU picked up recruit #5 Thursday. Evan Brown, offensive lineman, Southlake Carroll High, 6'4, 290, and not as yet rated.

UCF is probably having its best ever week in recruiting...as UCF just secured their 5th verbal over the past 6 days.

With so few scholarships available due to sanctions, in addition to lack of seniors on last year's team...this might be one instance where having few scholarships might help in recruiting...as spots/positions will fill up quickly.

That would be another nice get from USF's backyard.

Because UCF will have almost 1/2 the amount of official visits as is permitted (due to sanctions), its almost imperative for UCF to fill up its small class (maybe 13-16 players) before official visits this winter.

Still a long-time till signing day...but still rather have a verbal than not.

I like what Brandon said about Hall earlier... that's a really really good get, and he's good friends with DiNovo. I can see some major programs making runs at our recruits, but with the strong ties and early commits we should be able to keep them.

Not as slow as some other C-USA programs... there are quite a few that have absolutely none as of yet.

I think the best ranking profile is probably using 247's composite...but that's just me. And before you say it, NO it's not because they have Cincinnati the highest of the 4 ranking services. It just gives a better overall indication of players in my mind, because lets be honest, numerous scouting sites have been known to really drop the ball in certain regions year in, year out.
