All of the former NEC field hockey schools have been placed - all of the others are joining the MAAC either as full members or affiliates.

Oh, c'mon, its actual conference realignment, even if just realignment of affiliate members of a subsidized sport. Given the number of fantasy risk realignment scenarios, "Assuming wildly unlikely premise 1 and even more wildly unlikely premise 2, which school would you like to see added to ...". surely there's room for the modest moves in actual conference realignment that are actually taking place.

There are some young ladies that like this sport. My granddaughter gave up playing softball as she preferred playing field hockey. She was good in both sports.

In Europe, men play the sport. My granddaughter went to a couple of camps run by the Dutch men's international team.

In the decade I was living in Australia, one day my oldest boy came home excited, "they have a hockey competition!" ~ I knew enough about local sport to know that he was talking about a club competition, so I asked him to check out if it was ice hockey or field hockey ... he came back much less excited the next day to report that it was field hockey.

When I first saw this, I thought they were coming on as a full member of the A-10.
