The article was not just an attack on Huggs...he recommend OJ and Walker go to a numbner of schools, including XU, but does not include UC in the recommended schools they attend.

The guy is an idiot however on all counts......esp. mentioning XU but not UC.....as if.....

Well in general Rath, I agree...if someone like Doyel attacks Huggs in the media... I may not agree with it, but I don't plan to defend Huggs by attacking Doyel...that is KSU's battle at this point.

However, if folks plan to attack him on a bearcat forum, I will feel free to defend the guy if his actions deserve defending.

What I find amazing is the mass of Nancy apologist/ hugg haters that issue forth the "Move on" statement. The same folks posting threads about Huggs as a back stabber and sleazy recruiter and dirty operator etc, etc.

Heck I posted an article by the Black Athletes organization where they are recommending a number of schools for OJ and Walker but still incriminating UC with erroneous information and it became a Huggs issue ...I was thinking we needed to defend UC, not Huggs. Yet, it was immediately assumed to be pro huggs and attacked with the "Move on" chorus. Frankly, that choir needs to learn a new hymn. I am getting tried of being told what to think and or post.

How many of these "Huggs haters" are there? Probably less than 5. It's amazing how much turmoil a few posters can cause on this board by saying anything negative about Bob Huggins.

My take is simple enough, at least I believe so. Also, I think many folks would agree it. I love Huggs, AK and the former players. I hate Nancy. I want both Huggs and AK to suceed, but not at UC's expense. I would like nothing more than have UC playing either Ole Miss or KSU in the NC title game ever year...with UC wininng OF COURSE...I spent 7 years of my life getting degrees at UC and I love UC basketball.

My order more or less of posting information on this board: UC basketball related, college basketbal related, UC sports related, UC related and finally OT.

The folks who wanted Hugg gone have gotten their wish. Victors have one of two course of action: They can reconcile and rebuild or they force a Carthagian peace, raising and salting the earth...right now, I am starting to wonder if anything is going to grow again...God forbide if Huggs does get OJ and Walker and would win a NC title...the American Civil War will pale in comparison
