At least y'all have never been called another school. Going out of state and talking to people, they always ask if FAU was the ones to get in a brawl with Miami (Fl) a few years back. I've seen some moron make the same mistake on ESPN.

Thankfully we don't have to put up with the same state university system BS that many in the conference do. We are 100% independent of wvu or any of the way too many small universities in the state. Although for $50MM a year in sponsorship dollars I would go with Southwestern West Virginia U. The team would have a kick azz custom charter too.
