Week 1 QB Matchup: Louisville v Ohio
Louisville hosts Ohio in week 1, both teams have high expectations for the season based in part on the strength of their QBs, Teddy Bridgewater for Louisville and Tyler Tettelton for Ohio. Each have 2 years experience as a starter, here's how their career numbers match up heading into 2013-
Team W/L (2011-2012):
Bridgewater- 18-8
Tettelton.....- 19-8
Passing:
Bridgewater- 478/715, 66.9%, 5,847yds, 8.2avg, 41/20 TD/INT, 146.5 rat.
Tettelton.....- 493/780, 63.2%, 6,150yds, 7.9avg, 46/14 TD/INT, 145.1 rat.
Rushing:
Bridgewater- 163att, 86yds, 0.5avg, 5 TD
Tettelton.....- 286att, 902yds, 3.2avg, 14 TD
Should be a good game.

I think this game will be interesting, Ohio pulled it out against Penn State last year and I think they can again.

Fellow the defenses are the difference Louisville's defense will be the difference in this game. Plus our offense will be a force to dealt with. We are not looking past anybody.

I know...for some reason many think UofL is overlooking the Bobcats...not the case at all.
Difference is really our defense returning 9 Staters from last year and does Ohio have anyone that can stay with the UofL WR-(DeVonte Parker) and with the addition of Michael Dyer....

For some reason we are a 20 point favorite...now I feel we will win we are not going to cover that spread...Frank Solich is too good a coach for that to happen.

due to injuries last year Ohio has a lot of DBs with experience returning this year. Parker will be a good match up for 6th year Sr and team captain Travis Carrie, a DB that has the skills to play at the next level.
Ohio has a RB that is built like Dyer in Beau Blankenship(5'9", 212lbs) that ran for +1,600yds last year and gives the Ohio D a good work out in practice. Lot of new faces in the front 7 though, their ability to play well will be critical if the Bobcats hope to keep it close.

Knock UofL of the BCS title game, get back the keg of nails and go to the last BCS game.
I want UofL undefeated for their Dec 5 loss to Cincy; otherwise, the victory will be less sweet.
UofL - 27
Ohio - 24

Looks like the spread is Lville -20.5. I won't be surprised if the Cards win at home but I will be surprised if they beat the spread.

Some people are oblivious to the world around them. I had a friend that got run over on his bike. He was sitting at a red light, and when it turned green the car coming up on the intersection stomped on it and ran over him before he got a chance to move. My friend was killed instantly, and the driver never even knew he was there until he had already been run over and killed...

Solich is probably the best coach outside the traditional powerhouse programs. He probably is better than 80% of the BCS coaches.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I don't even like riding my bike on roads because of people like that. I see it happen when in my car, people on the phone not paying attention, etc.

Definitely.
He's taken Nebraska to the National Championship game. He's coached in 11 bowl games (6 Nebraska, 5 Ohio). Victories in the Fiesta, Alamo, Independence and Potato Bowls.
Within the G5 ranks only Chris Petersen of Boise State is more accomplished. Charlie Strong could reach that pinnacle this year but Louisville is a future P5'er
