I almost felt sorry for the three folks who picked North Carolina last night.... almost.

So it comes down to tomorrow night's game between FSU/Pitt..

Currently, Wolfman and ChrisLords are tied for tops this week, having made 15 correct picks. Ole Blue has a shot to tie them if Pitt wins on Monday night.

I'd be willing to designate Ole Blue the winner of the week if Pitt wins based on 'head-2-head' -- HOWEVER, I'll leave that to "majority rule".

How is the season winner determined? Is it the total number of wins?

I think you should give the winner(s) of each week a bonus point toward their season total. With that in mind, I say call it a 2 or 3-way tie.

Season winner is determined by (and ChrisLords can correct me if needed)..

Highest win total for the participants who have participated every week.

Late entrants have to accept "L"s for every game they missed if they want to be considered for the "season" title.

I'll take the "bonus point" proposal under advisement -- I'd rather pursue your earlier idea of having a weekly tie-breaker. I just didn't get enough time to implement it last week.

I do believe a participant should get an extra point if he/she picks all the games correctly in a given week.

Speaking as someone who just picked a perfect week. I think that is a bad idea. The guy who picked all but 1 game now finds himself down by 2 points instead of one. Also it weights the earlier weeks more heavily as it's easier to pick a perfect week early.

I like the idea of having multiple winners to each week if there is a tie. It'll all work itself out in the end when we total the weekly winners.
