SAY WHAT? You'll pull for a Texas school before pulling for a C-USA school?

Yes. Texas kids, that went to Texas high schools, that then go to Texas Universities. These kids and their families are our neighbors and fellow Texans. I rib other Texas schools and I want to beat everyone who meets us on the field. But I wish all Texas kids and all Texas schools to do well and be great human beings.

There are a couple of other states that I think are great states. But there is no place like Texas.

This is about your signature.

So UTSA has co-opted the Gonzales flag? San Marcos is closer to Gonzales than SA. Let Tx St have it.

If you know Texas history, the cannon was then taken to San Antonio and used in the Battle of The Alamo after the Battle of Gonzales.... Not San Marcos...
Oh, heck, let 'em have it. Although the fate of the cannon is disputed the Texians lost big time at the Alamo. Cannons were melted down (A Gonzales battle fighter has a diary that states it was buried near a creek after the battle so that the Mexicans couldn't get it and a "similar" cannon was unearthed in 1936 in the spot he stated).

Besides, their AD is top notch and although it is a symbol for all of TX, they thought of it first and I think it's kinda cool.

Sure lots of message board mud slinging today. What's wrong with some of you? The wife said "no dice" last night?03-lmfao

Slinging mud? I was making an accurate statement. "History" implies "past". Maybe he meant recent history.

03-lmfao Funny thing is how I was not referring to you at all, Funslinger.
I've got some chill pills to pass around for those of you who want them. I've already had to double up my quota.

If you weren't referring to me then why did you respond to MY post?

Honestly? I don't know. Sometimes I do get on a wrong posts since some of these forums allow so much piggy backing of posts on top of posts on top of posts.

Also.....sometimes I just become a smack board squatter on a random thread and just basically work on my keyboarding speed? (You buy that)? Surely you don't take these message boards "THAT" serious? I just enjoy the point/counter point banter and "my daddy is better than your daddy" lagniape that we sometimes lower ourselves. LOL!

Rename your mascot the Fighting Pelvises. There are no tigers in Memphis.

Your suggestion makes as much sense as mine. 05-mafia
