After week one the AAC was completely embarrassed by their collective play, led by the lopsided losses of USF and UConn to FCS teams. It could be argued the Big XII also had its ass handed to them by FCS teams in week one, but as a "newbie" football league the AAC (with a one-year BCS bid) looks like a complete sham.

There's been some talk among JMU fans about wanting to join the AAC...but honestly, at this point, I don't think the AAC would send more than two teams into the FCS playoffs.

If offered the opportunity, I suppose JMU would eagerly want to join that league (mostly for basketball)...but for FB? Ewwwww....

They'll be fine, but I would be surprised if they kept the BCS type status. Maybe the MW takes the other spot if they open it up.

UCF, Lousiville and Cincy are all Top 25 teams....after that I don't think they have another in the Top 75 except for maybe Rutgers.

Once Rutgers and Louisville leave though, the conference is barely going to be better than C-USA.
