Brohm won't play; he's ahead of recovery schedule and is out there with the team, but they are holding him out from contact until summer.

I expect the wide receivers to put on a show; this could be the best corp in the country.

Weather forecast is still sketchy; it may rain but it may clear up by then.

I just wish I had ESPNU. I've missed a lot of good things because of it. I need to switch to Dish Network to get it.

I was really impressed with Pat Carter's athleticism and fluidity. He's going to be a big weapon and can be used in a variety of situations. Corey Thompson looks like a gamer and could end up being an Arnold Jackson-type possession guy. Brock Bolen seems to be a tough guy at FB/RB and when he had the chance to run inside, he brought it. I think he'll contribute running and blocking. I wish I'd seen Chris Vaughn play but I've heard he has some qualities like Tinch. Overall, the transfers look solid.

I totally agree; all 3 of those are going to be major contributors. Our offense is simply loaded; Petrino keeps getting the talent in here year after year.

It was hard to gauge the defense since they were not going up against the 1st offense. I think the difference in a good season and great season for us is the quality depth we develop on the D-Line; I think the linebackers and secondary will be just fine.

It's true that Louisville's offense is loaded. Can the defense live up to their task is now the question. The Cards may have to score like crazy to defeat Miami and WVU if they can't stop them. We shall see as the season progresses.
