Your crazy pills are working because I don't think any UTSA fans are saying that. Here was my very first post on this thread before MeanGreenEngineer started making comparisons...

Fear The Beak later recanted his statement and admitted he was joking, but all the comparisons then went outta control once that whole door was opened. If there are any UTSA fans here or anywhere else who think we're something special because we beat UTEP, they're sadly misguided, and I'll venture to say that 90% of UTSA fans would agree with me on that. So I hope you're not characterizing our fan base like that.

Best case deal is when we start comparing wins against Top 25 schools that will put one or more of our teams inside a Top 25 poll.

CUSA cannot let the Top 25 ranking disappear from toward the top of our conference goals list....period.

Yet still easy to see how some on this thread want to have a pi$$ing contest on things that most from the P5 conferences are merely laughing at you for some of your posts which seem to be saying............OUR LOSS IS BETTER THAN YOUR LOSS AND MEANS SO MUCH MORE.

If I was an a$$hole and wanted to downplay the Mean Green's showing against Georgia I could easily mention the fact that 14 of their points came from special teams (kick return, punt block). That shows a lot of heart but also shows that it wasnt really a case of NT going toe to toe with Georgia--your offense scored 7 points, your defense gave up 45 and 600+ yds of offense. Down 14 going into the 4th quarter, lost by 24.

Its really easy to downplay stuff when its not your team...

Best team in C-USA?

Well, I haven't seen Marshall/ECU/MTSU play top opponents yet. So it's hard to judge what they are capable of.

But UNT was impressive this week.

Rice and Tulsa are also tough to figure out.

I'll go with UNT because they belong in the conversation.

Point is, it doesn't matter who we beat or how well we play, they are a bunch of naysayers on this league what will never give us credit. Last year they said we would be lucky to win 3 or 4 games, yet we won 8. Then they said "well, look at who you played", as if we changed our schedule AFTER they made those predictions. This year many on here said we would be luck to win 1 or 2 games and would go winless in CUSA. We already won 2 games and are 1-0 in CUSA. Now they say "well, look at who you played". As if we changed our schedule AFTER they made those predictions (sound familiar)?
