Will the stone wall helmets be "textured"? I can appreciate the reasoning behind the helmet, but I can't help but be reminded of this:

To the average person, a Duke bluestone and Hokie stone helmet would be indistinguishable, not that both aren't cool traditions though.

The idea reminds me a little of Nike aerographic basketball jerseys.

I am typically a traditionalist when it comes to uniforms, but this is pretty cool, and it certainly is different.

By far better than the horrible helmets they wore last week and the turkey feet ones they wore last season.

If you watch the game tonight, I'll be visitor (TV) side, lower left endzone corner, 5 rows up, wearing a white GT helmet.

I think the atmosphere will be pretty damn good.

Those jerseys are so much better than the different crap GT trots out with every year since...I can remember.

They weren't chosen because they were garish, they were chosen because they did a study back in 1885 to find the 2 most commonly occurring colors that weren't already some one else's colors. Since the leaves turn Orange and Maroon in the fall, those ended up being our colors.

And we've done orange pant with Maroon tops and they look terrible.
