Justin Hardy is a freak... reaching back blindly to recover his fumble.

Say what you want about our offense sputtering and us making mental errors, but this has the feel of a game that we always lose and the fact we stuck it out and came out with the W is a great sign for us. Credit Mtsu for the great effort, they will have a great season in CUSA. We are lucky to escape with the W.

Great Game MT!!!! You all look to definitely be leading C-USA after our dept. Your players deserved more fans in those stands today. That team deserves it the way they play. Great Job Pirates! That victory form must have felt soo good.

Great way to shake off a sluggish start and the loss of coop. Hopefully this game will be a wake up call for the boys.

Worried about playing them at their place, too. We have fumblitis in away venues it seems. If we don't turn it over we can play with anyone. Anyway good game.

MT was a tough out for us, just as I knew that it would be. I'm REALLY pleased with our D; we're fine there. Our O moved the ball but failed to convert when it should have; we left at least 13 points on the field... much of that can also be attributed to their D.

Good game, Raiders.

This is a typical CUSA away game. No fans so we don't play to our potential. That's why next week will be tough @Tulane

I want to thank the MTSU fans and people of the 'Boro for being so pleasant and hospitable. I wish y'all the best.

I really do not think the number of fans had anything to do with todays result. Give the credit to MTSU's defense...They played well. It is hard to win on the road against good teams.

Actually the offense looked out of synch at times, just not very sharp. The defense and defensive staff did a great job. The only coaching deal that looked bad was the end of the 1st half deal...That is on Coach Ruff, he is responsible for clock management and that was a fail big time....Luckily it did not come back to haunt us.

I would not say the team looked flat as I think they came in focused but there was not a lot of excitement on the field. It is hard to get hyped up week after week but the team showed a lot of grit to pull this one out.

Credit to MTSU for the way they played on defense...They were physical and played very hard for sure.

A win is a win and you will never hear me complain about a win...I learned my lesson on this deal during the JT era. All that matters is how many not how.
