Looking at the rest of the schedule and how the teams have played so far, I think these teams have the best chance at getting bowl eligible:

Marshall
Rice
Tulane
North Texas
ECU
MTSU

I think Tulsa is on the bubble.

You can remove us from the list. Team is starting to fall apart.

Injuries are setting in on offensive line and lack of depth on defense line is starting to show. We're done.

ECU is gonna be on the bubble. I think we can get to 6 wins but the Magic of this season is over...this team still hasn't beaten a ranked team and way too many injuries. Jury is still out for me on this coaching staff.

This is the 1st thing I would do if I was a coach "BAN Twitter" and I would monitor what was said on facebook and who was actually your "friends".

No one has been eliminated yet because at 6-6 you can still go. If I recall correctly two schools can absorb one more loss to o to 6 total.

USM 0-5
FAU 2-5
UTEP 1-5

There are 4 teams in CUSA with 5 losses. So any of the 4 can only lose one more game. It's not likely but any of them can get on a roll and go bowling.

Nobody will listen to me on this point, but don't be surprised if Tulsa goes 7-1 or at worst 6-2 in conference play. They dismantled UTEP yesterday. I would almost call them a lock for Bowl play.

I agree. I think Tulsa can go on a 4-2 run to finish the season, but I don't know if that would guarantee them a bowl. C-USA only has 6 bowl ties this season. If Tulsa or some other surprise program ends up being eligible, they may be have to fill in for another conferences tie-in.

I agree. I feel good about UNT's chances against LA Tech, but we haven't done anything on the road in a long time, nor have we won back to back games in quite a while. I feel good about ending those streaks in Ruston, but I'm not ready to guarantee a win.

All depends on if the coaches go into their shell. When we have been aggressive, we have moved the ball down field. When we go super-Skip-Holtz-conservative, we do a lot of punting. This is our homecoming game and with two weeks to prepare, I think we win by 10 coming off the bye.

I wish I shared your confidence but armadillos have better luck on the road than North Texas. I'm calling this one a toss-up at best.

Reasoning: Unless there is an epic collapse or a catastrophic injury, it is pretty much guranteed these teams are going bowling.

North Texas 3-3 (@LaTech, @USM, Rice, UTEP, UTSA, @Tulsa)

Reasoning: MTSU should be ables to win 3 of these games. FIU, USM, and UTEP just are not very good teams this season. North Texas has a little tougher of a road but still has 3 winnable games.

Reasoning: These teams need 4 more wins and have a very slim margin for error. With the way Tulsa has been playing I just can't see 4 wins with their remianing schedule. To be honest with FAU's schedule they most likely have already seen their bubble burst.

Well, not normally, no - but they might appear in a bowl anyway if they get to at least 6-6. If there are bowl spots open after all normally eligible 6-6/6-7 & better teams have been taken, then teams in the second year of transition, like UTSA, can be selected.
