I watched Ball St and N. Illinois play this week and Ball St looked like a real football team compared to Tulsa. We have the worst offense I have seen in a long time.......absolutely zero imagination......the WR's run plain simple routes....no problem for the defense to defend.....I think at least 3 out of every 4 times Evans dropped back to pass, a defender was there about the same time.....it's a good thing Evans can scramble!!!! If this offense doesn't get a COMPLETE overhaul during the off season, we may consider 2 wins a good year. Every time I see Baylor(#5 in the country) play, I think they are the new Tulsa............or what Tulsa could have been.........and that makes me very sad!!!! The type of recruit we could have had if we played the same offense we played for years.......but those recruits are playing for Baylor!!!!

Since we are experiencing some reversal of fortune in MBB so far, its depressing to the point that I've kind of stopped viewing the sports section in the paper and watching it on TV.

I know we will right the ship, but the real question is how long will it take? I can't see us falling completely out of the picture after all the success we've had over the years. We will recover. There are hundreds of schools out there that would die to have our history of success, so this is just a small bump in the road as far as I'm concerned.
