I'm not. That space could be used for another walk on like Prince Williams who was a legit mid major prospect we got to walk on who will likely be starting or playing a big role as a sophomore. At least use it on someone with upside if nothing else.

One if Lebo could get another player of that talent level to walk on, he would.

Two, Endosomwan does not have a spot on the roster reserved, has to earn it every year.

That's probably harsh and Reigns shouldn't have brought him into it but we've actually had good walk on's over the years, guys that contributed, or were at least big like 6-8+, or even transferred to other D1 an D2 schools on scholarship. We really could use that roster spot this year for some depth as thin as we are. I have a hard time believing you couldn't go to the rec and find some guys that are more accomplished or have better upside.

Walk on invites were extended, even some last second ones. But, they are hit or miss on the kid actually coming. You act like it's easy, but it's not. Especially for players 6-5 or taller. Most worth havibg get scholarahips, the rest get D-II scholarships or Juco. Before the semester started we had no scholarships left to offer. Now we have one, Armstrong's, but that was too late to get anyone. Just bad luck.

Tonight's game tips at 8 PM! Even though it's a non-D1 team it's opening game AND homecoming weekend so we MAY get a good crowd.

PRC is a sharpshooter and the 4 guard sets look great.

Stith, White and the JUCO point guard Robinson can play and they are bigger than I thought that they would be.

Stith and White are like 6'7" and i think Robinson is between 6'3" and 6'5"

We're going to be really good this year I just hope we've gelled before the potential Duke game.

Wonder what the attendance number will be. Hopefully this falling on Homecoming will entice more fans to attend regularly.

Alexander has some abilities on offense, but he kept giving up the baseline on defense. He has skills, but he has to keep working on defense.

The team looked o.k., but we need to see them play some real teams before we can see if they are good. Btw Stith and White looked as tall as Zangari and Guilmette.

Marshall Guilmette 6-10
Michael Zangari 6-9
Brandan Stith 6-7
Keith Armstrong 6-7
Michel-Ofik Nzege 6-7
Caleb White 6-7

We're going to be deep at forward next year that's for damn sure.

Stith had 5 steals, 3 blocks, 10 rebounds and 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting in 20 minutes. I know it's against NC Wesleyan, but still a nice line.

I like the fact that the Ladies and the Men dropped the hammer on the competition.

RE: Official 2013-2014 ECU Basketball Thread
Stith is going to be a special player for us, already looks as good as Sampson ever did, and shoots better. Stith can flat out jump out of the gym. Looked great and has a motor, gets up and down the court fast, he is a lot faster than he looks. Whit look good to, a little smaller frame than Stith, but still bigger than Mo Kemp. Peter Torlak did well, shot great, almost went cost to cost on play. Had it play perfectly, set the dude up and pulled the spin move, he just didn't get the ball around his shoulders while spinning and the defender got his hand to stop him from shooting.

We faced a crappy team, had a slow start, but got it going and just kept is going and beat a bad team the way we should.

The game was what I expected it to be, because NC Weslyn look like a bad team. What surprised me was how big Stith, White and Robinson were. I was expecting to see Stith and White in the "6''6" and 190 pound range, but on television they looked every bit and grain of "6'8" and in the 210-220 range. Robinson looked to be "6'4"or so and I was surprised that he looked so very quick. Those 3 players caught me off guard.

Since I couldn't make the game, where position did Endowsman play last night? Remember Lebo has politely asked players to leave before so there must be a reason Endow is still around
