Marshall, UTSA, ECU, Rice, and Tulane fans can't vote. Who do you all want to see in the Championship Game?

No strong feelings here, but I picked Marshall at Rice. Two great teams for whom I have a lot of respect and am looking forward to being conference mates with for the foreseeable future, both bowl eligible.

But more than that, I would like to see the two teams that earned the right to play.

I voted UTSA vs ECU so please disregard 1.

Just everybody can vote. Forget it. I vited.

As a sidenote, is ECU @ Rice really an option? Maybe I'm not clear on the tiebreaker rules.

I want revenge on Tulane.

It's unlikely that Rice can host vs ECU but it's possible.

You realize how silly it is to tell a fanbase they can't vote when you know they will do the exact opposite.

+1 I voted this before reading the thread. I was actually looking forward to visiting San Antonio to watch ECU play since my Dad lived there for a while. If ECU was hosting the CUSA Championship game, I think it would be cool to see us play a team we have never played before.

Highly unlikely Rice could jump ECU in the BCS standings. So what other way could they host ??

ECU beats Marshall and UNC beats Duke, which I think they will, then our BCS ranking will only go up.

First off I want Marshall to host obviously.
I don't want ECU or Tulane in it for the same reasons I didn't want UCF, Houston, etc in it last year. Although as some Herd fans have said, it would be nice to beat all three defectors before they leave and Tulane would be the last one.
UTSA, been there, beat that.
All that leaves is Rice. Two holdovers, as well as two not leaving. Good game last year at Rice.

I wanted to say UTSA @ ECU because I want to see us smack 'em around a bit.... kind of like a cat with an injured mouse. Just kidding UTSA fans.... I know y'all have a solid team.

I say Tulane because I want the rematch. That kicker has to come outdoors sometime!

Before the season started everyone was clowning UTSA here we are week 13 and in the hunt for a conference title berth. I'm excited to be in CUSA last week of the season and we essentially have 3 meaningful games.

Bowl season looks good hopefully we send 7 teams and they all scoop.

Would like to see either UTSA V Marshall or UTSA V ECU....

I would like that game, because I think ECU is the best team in the East, and I would like to see Rice beat the best team in Houston. But I don't think we can pass you in the BCS standings, unless all of the Texas coaches voting in the polls suddenly love the Owls and want to see them ranked higher than ECU. It could happen, but I doubt it.

I have to go with Marshall at Rice, because I think if Rice beats a good Tulane team Saturday, it will be difficult for Marshall to leap the Owls in the BCS standings.

If only we had held onto the ball better in Denton, this discussion would be academic.

I want Rice @ ECU, because I've got a buddy who works for Rice's athletic department and he'd get to come back to Greenville!!! Albeit on the wrong sideline.
