North Texas @ Tulsa Game Thread
We haven't beat Tulsa in a LONG time. LONG, LONG time. Starts today. Although this game isn't too meaningful considering looks like the HoD has already made their decision on us, still need to win. Let's go Mean Green!

We need to send Tulsa to the AAC with a nice 3-9 record. North Texas needs to step up and show the HOD that last week against UTSA wasn't Mean Green football. UNT needs to make a statement today against Tulsa.

RE: North Texas @ Tulsa Game Thread
Regarding Tulsa, this is a talented football team....but doesn't have a quarterback. However, Tulsa was able to ditch their pathetic qb via an injury and the second string qb showed promise in the LaTech game. Tulsa doesn't need a great qb to win. Tulsa does need a qb that doesn't throw as many interceptions as td passes and, then fumbles now and then to boot. TU may have finally found its qb. For this reason, this qb issue, this UNT game should be of high interest to Tulsa followers as well as UNT followers. Both teams have a lot to gain from this game with a win. My best to both and may the best team win.

I don't think its on tv. There's not much demand for a game between two non-bowling teams.

C'mon 78, you know it's on Fox Sports Southwest. I'm sure you also know North Texas is going bowling. Congrats to the Mean Green!

My family & I are ready to head out to the game. Great weather day for football, 60 degrees & partly cloudy. Hope Tulsa shows up today, because I'm sure North Texas will come ready to play. Tallgrass is right, this is a big game for freshman QB Evans to show if he is ready to be our QB of 2014. North Texas has a very good run defense, so Tulsa's passing game will have to perform.

Bittersweet game, Tulsa's last CUSA football game. Going to miss CUSA.

Here's to a great game, with no injuries on either side.

Rice will be pulling for UNT. With the photo finish expected in the BCS standings between Marshall and Rice (if Rice beats Tulane), every little bit of strength of schedule helps.

No disrespect to Tulsa whom I admire, but I'm rooting for UNT in this one. I want them to finish strong and whoop whomever they play in the HOD Bowl. Preferably Nebraska or Michigan.

HoD has made their decision? Hopefully the team has not jumped to that same conclusion. There is a big diff between 8-4 and 7-5. We need this win.

Yikes, UNT fumbles on Tulsa's 3 yard line and Tulsa runs it back for a TD.04-jawdrop

7-0 Tulsa

God our offense sucks. Our D and ST has bailed it out all season. Derek Thompson, won't miss you.

We are the worst team in CUSA.

How the hell did we get so bad so quick?

I hate Bill Blankenship with every bone in my body.

Congrats Mean Green. Good luck in the HOD bowl. Hopefully we keep the series going.

I wish Tulsa the best of luck in the AAC. I hope we can schedule some OOC games between our programs. These are easy/fun road trips.
