RE: Divisional realignment coming? Don't shoot the messenger !!
if 2 7 team divisions is the plan these seem like the best options

Option 1:

Atlantic-----------------------------------------------Coastal
Florida State-----------------------------------------Miami
Georgia Tech-----------------------------------------Clemson
North Carolina---------------------------------------NC State
Duke---------------------------------------------------Wake Forest
Virginia------------------------------------------------Virginia Tech
Boston College----------------------------------------Syracuse
Louisville----------------------------------------------Pittsburgh

Option 2:

Atlantic--------------------------------------------------Coastal
Florida State--------------------------------------------Miami
Clemson-------------------------------------------------Boston College
Georgia Tech--------------------------------------------Syracuse
NC State-------------------------------------------------Wake Forest
North Carolina------------------------------------------Duke
Virginia--------------------------------------------------Virginia Tech
Pittsburgh-----------------------------------------------Louisville

Option 3:

Atlantic---------------------------------------------------Coastal
Florida State---------------------------------------------Miami
Georgia Tech---------------------------------------------Virginia
Clemson--------------------------------------------------Virginia Tech
Pittsburgh------------------------------------------------Louisville
NC State--------------------------------------------------North Carolina
Wake Forest----------------------------------------------Duke
Boston College-------------------------------------------Syracuse

A potential rivalry long term due to some unpleasant history just looking at these lineups is Louisville - Virginia Tech...hopefully the scheduling issues will be resolved to everyone satisfaction in the coming months.

Here are the pods:
Your typical pod scheduling applies. Each team has a permanent crossover. I believe the pods accurately correspond to the frequencies I listed above. If there is an inaccuracy feel free to adjust.

This is a good compromise suggestion if they can get over the rotational divisions. The only tweak I would make is switch BC and Pitt since BC has been in the conference longer and I am sure BC would prefer to play Miami Ga Tech annually instead of FSU and Clemson.

Tex, the whole thing looked sarcastic to me, but just my opinion.

The real funny thing is this: Keep in mind, there are a lot of Cincy supporters who are paranoid/overly hopeful about realignment these days. This "article" was linked on another Cincy board (which is pretty much how I "found" it), and the guy who posted it actually did think it was legit.

Then he started complaining like, "oh no, now UL is going to play in PBS and pee in our pool." No. I doubt UL is going to move ACC home games to Nashville, Indy and Cincinnati 03-lmfao

Perhaps they were under the impression that UL still played football in the old baseball stadium/cracker-jack box? I can see ND moving a game with Louisville to Indianapolis, Cincinnati, St. Louis, or Chicago, and calling it a Shamrock Game.

It's unfortunate for Syracuse that their AD spoke out of turn and via email on the subject. The likelihood of the ACC making a change to satisfy Syracuse in football is probably less than one percent. And as far as the "urban" exposure issue goes I don't think anyone south of Pittsburg PA cares much about Syracuse football, with the possible exception of NY expats in the Miami area.

Very little happens in the ACC unless you quietly align your votes before the fact, once things become public, inertia sets in.
